Frequently Asked Questions
We are a non-profit organisation in India dedicated to building an inclusive ecosystem for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our focus is on raising awareness, fostering inclusivity, and creating supportive environments for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PwIDD).
We believe inclusion starts in classrooms and extends into our communities. We run two programmes to address the unique needs of stakeholders across these two contexts.
With our Inclusive Duniya Schools Programme, we collaborate with schools and educational institutions to train teachers on inclusive teaching strategies, understanding diverse learning needs, and creating supportive classroom environments for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Our Awareness and Allyship programme is where we engage volunteers across age groups in outreach initiatives, starting conversations and community engagement initiatives to foster inclusion for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PwIDD).
If you are an educator, you can partner with us to bring greater participation from diverse learners in your classroom through our Inclusive Duniya School Programme. If you are a student, parent, or community member, you can volunteer and participate in our initiatives, promoting open discussions about inclusion for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PwIDD). Our volunteers assist in workshops, facilitate community engagement events like the Inclusive Duniya Circles building IDD awareness and support our outreach initiatives. As volunteers continue to facilitate these sessions in various community settings, they evolve into Inclusive Duniya Champions, empowering others to become allies and fostering inclusive communities.
An Inclusive Duniya Circle is a 60-75-minute interactive storytelling experience that fosters disability awareness and inclusion. Participants reflect on their role as allies for inclusion through engaging discussions and activities. We use our comic series, ‘Naina’s Inclusive Duniya’, to lead these circles.
Donations can be made through our website’s donation page to help fund our initiatives and support our mission.
