Sibling-Care Programme
Siblings are our companions for life. For siblings of neurodivergent individuals, this often includes playing the role of a lifelong caregiver. Yet this experience remains largely unacknowledged. Siblings are not recognised for the care they provide or the roles they hold.
The Sibling-Care Programme brings sibling experiences to the centre across caregiving, education, workplaces, mental health, and disability spaces. We work to bring to light their narratives, build advocacy and create tools to help siblings be seen, understood, and supported throughout their journey.
Sibling Adda
Within the Indian context, connection is often built through shared lived experiences. Siblings of neurodivergent individuals rarely have access to such as they grow up within a broader culture of silence around family experiences. This often results in isolation and a lack of shared understanding.
Sibling Adda responds directly to this absence. It is a safe, peer-led space for adult siblings to connect and share with others who relate to their everyday realities, reducing emotional burden while strengthening a sense of recognition and belonging.
Sibling Addas are held on a monthly basis, in Gurgaon and online.

#InclusiveDuniya Sib-Talks
#InclusiveDuniya Sib-Talks are facilitated reflective spaces that bring the lived experiences of siblings into wider public and professional discourse.
Through a storytelling-based format, these sessions centre perspectives that are often missing from conversations on neurodiversity. They invite participants to engage with the complexities of sibling roles, relationships, and care, moving beyond clinical or theoretical frameworks.
The intention is to enable deeper understanding and to inform more inclusive approaches across education, mental health, and community spaces.
We have conducted Sib-Talks across platforms including:
- Global Autism Convention at The St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences – 23rd January 2026, Bengaluru
- Manotsava, National Mental Health Festival hosted by Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies and NIMHANS – 9th November 2025, Bengaluru (2 sessions)
- Frob, Utsav Square – 26th October, 2025, Gurgaon

Research and Development
Our work is grounded in sustained field engagement and lived experience. Insights from this work have been compiled into a white paper presented at the ISHMAA Global Mental Health Summit 2026.
These learnings are being translated into practical toolkits for schools, parents, workplaces, and mental health professionals, with the aim of enabling more informed and responsive support for siblings.
